This case report describes a full-term infant diagnosed at birth with tetralogy of Fallot, despite normal prenatal echocardiography from 12 to 38 weeks’ gestation. The infant’s mother, who had gestational diabetes and obesity, tested positive for COVID-19 during the second trimester. She reported mild respiratory symptoms and loss of smell and taste. The findings raise important questions about COVID-19 infection during pregnancy and potential associations with fetal cardiac development.
